Speak to your house and it listens.

We all have heard how great the Amazon Echos and Google Homes are in providing home automation. They can make your life much easier by allowing you to use voice commands to do all kinds of neat things with your home. "Alexa, turn on the kitchen lights." "Alexa, set the thermostat to 75 degrees." "OK Google, tell Roomba to start cleaning." These are just a few of the commands you can use to make your home seem to work like the Jetson's.

What they don't tell you though is that it takes a lot of planning and installation of the correct kinds of devices in your home to make this all work. You will need smart bulbs, smart switches and outlets, the correct Roomba versions, not to mention locks, cameras, sensors, speakers, etc. You will need the correct smart hubs to tie all of these different devices together as many of the devices you want to control can't be controlled directly by Alexa or Google Home.

Are you are willing to spend the time and energy to figure out all of the parts and pieces it takes to make home automation work?  And then spend the time and have the skills to install, program, and configure a working system? If not then my may want some help.  I use home automation in my  home and have installed systems for others. Each system is different in the details and needs to be designed and installed carefully with a mind to the future.  You need someone to set down with you to help you understand what is and what is not possible.

We at Hunny-Do-Handyman can help you with your home automation project from start to finish. So lets start with a consultation visit in your home to help you understand what is possible, some you may have never thought of.  After the initial consult we will begin the design process where we determine the equipment  and installation needed to get your home automation project moving.  When this design process is complete we will review the plans with you and make any changes needed as well as provide you with a time frame and cost for you project.  After we order and receive your equipment we will schedule a time to do your install, get that done and then show you how to operate you new smart home.  And we will be there to provide you with support should anything go amiss.

We can also provide extended service contracts to assist you with any trouble you many experience after the initial support ends.
